Clearance 1/2 Inch Gaffers Tape (Yellow) Tape

The Gaffer tape is high quality strong and tough cotton cloth tape that is pressure sensitive with extra strong adhesive properties. The industrial grade, matte-finish, vinyl-coated cloth tape which can be used wherever a strong, abrasion resistant, waterproof cloth tape is required. The tape is commonly used for securing and holding overhead lighting, set and stage decoration or holding down audio or other light to medium gauge wire. While related to duct tape, it differs in that it can be removed cleanly because it uses a synthetic petroleum-based adhesive rather than a natural rubber adhesive. Mostly used to secure lightening cables on the stage floor however, the camera assistants use short strips of different tape colors as blocking markers for actors. Those involved in theatrical production of any sort literally don’t go anywhere without it.
