The Arri CODEX Compact Drive Express 1TB was created exclusively to allow Apple ProRes recording on the ALEXA 35. The Drive offers 960 GB usable capacity and up to 8 Gbps ( ~950 MB/s) write speed, so you reach the same max fps for Apple ProRes recording as the regular 1TB Drive.
ALEXA 35 recording capacity at 24 fps- approx. 1hr 20min UHD Apple ProRes 4444XQ- approx. 2hrs UHD ProRes 4444.
Notes: This drive is only supported in the ALEXA 35 and ALEXA 35 Live. It does not work in any other camera.- The Compact Drive Express 1TB is marked with a white ring.
