The Profoto ProRing Plus Flash Head is a light source that encircles the lens and supports the camera via the included mount. Fashion photographers choose the ProRing Plus when they want a direct and prominent key light without harshness. Some prefer it because it is mounted on the camera and easy to move around with. Others love it because of the unique catch light it creates. Needless to say there is no right or wrong way to use the ProRing Plus. Like all other Pro heads, the ProRingPlus is built to last a lifetime. The ProRing Plus has a glass safety cover for its flash tube that can handle up to 2,400W/s. It comes with camera and stand adapters and a 13′ cable. The lamp head connector is sealed, helping to prevent dust and moisture from entering the generator. This model has no modeling light. It is compatible with the Pro-8, Pro-7, Pro-B4, Pro-B3, Pro-B2 and the D4 generators. Note: Use requires separate purchase of a power pack.
